The problem
Restaurant operators wanted a direct channel to local customers without relying on aggregator apps that take 30%+ commissions and own the customer relationship.
The approach
A two-sided Flutter app. Restaurants manage listings and offers; customers browse, book, and pay. Firebase handles auth and real-time sync. Stripe processes payments with proper escrow and partner payouts. Shared codebase, two flavors (partner / customer) at build time.
The outcome
Live in a regional market with multiple partner restaurants onboarded. Real users, real transactions. The marketplace pattern is now reusable for other vertical apps.
